Earlier this year there was a bit of a craze for Palazzo pants, Maxi skirts, sheers, mullet skirts and you know what this style is huge. It’s perfect for summer months and it’s easy to wear and fun. Now here’s the question “can short girls wear palazzo pants and maxi skirts?” Why not? Well I think the answer for this is yes, wear it with heels. I’m not saying that you can’t pair it with your favorite flats it’s just that  full length palazzo pants and maxi skirts doesn’t seem to work unless you have impossibly long legs.

Palazzo Pants – Glam under the Flowing Fabric

These wide leg trousers have made a comeback since last year and it is definitely a good investment. Last year I bought a palazzo pants and wore it once honestly its more comfortable than the skinnies however I don’t know if I looked good wearing it because I was teased I feel like a little girl swamped in my grandmothers too-big trousers maybe because I was wearing flats that time so I think high heels are the key.

Maxi Skirt - Fun, Flirty and Romance

I’ve been eying for a perfect maxi skirt something that I would definitely not regret. It has been around the streets for a while and I’ve seen this from different fashion bloggers and celebrities and I love how it flatters every type of body. The maxi skirt look would be very chic and laid back at the same time. It’s definitely the right timing since the weather has been unpredictable for months now.

Amid the confusion and excitement about Prom the idea of being stunning on that night will prevail. Prom has become more or less one of the most important events in your high school experience though for some people it’s another reason to worry and feel stressed out (mga KJ).  The reason why I’m asking if you have a copy of Candy’s Jan-Feb issue it’s because they have tips on how to look great on that evening #justsharing.

Now looking back on that day I dressed very conservatively then during Señior prom it was a very risky dress *insert laughing. I’m not sharing any photo No…No… anyway if I’m going to prom I’m going to wear …

During day off I usually sleep, eat, do the laundry, go to the mall, window shop, bloghop etc… but yesterday was different my partner and I decided to hit the road. Lesson learned from yesterday, before embarking on a road trip you make sure to have your camera with you then double check if it’s fully charged. haha

So I opted for a laid back look.

On a more serious note,

I can still remember

First when my mamang(lola) used to buy some fabrics and would make them our dress (me and my sister) during Christmas parties or any events in school when we were young and I was complaining because I was the only one who’s wearing dress and everyone was actually wearing jeans. Thinking that jeans are way fashionable than dresses.

Second how I took up garments during the last year in high school as a preparation for college. There were actually 4 special courses that we need to choose during the last semester one is garments like I mentioned above which is basically pattern making and fashion design, then we also have computer subject, engineering, and art classes.

And lastly, how I mix and match my cousin’s clothes because they always have that problem on “what to wear”.

You know that feeling of regression because what I’m exactly feeling right now is that I’m a total failure and a little disappointed. I feel like I just wasted my 4 years in college, the time, effort and money.  Not pursuing what I always love to do. Those things I mentioned above were actually signs that my passion is FASHION too bad for me it was late when I realize what I like to be. I always dream of being a stylist but of course I can’t be one if I know nothing about it. Now here’s a new opportunity since Fashion Institute of the Philippines is now in Cebu you know what’s next and im looking forward to be that person I wanted to be.

Here’s what I wore during the Glam Rock Christmas Party. It was FUN-FUN-FUN… sadly the party ends in time for everyone to go back to work. Good thing I was on training that time.

It’s another Christmas and year end party! It’s was my 1^st Christmas party in our company and it was a blast.

This year’s theme was Glam Rock and I prepared for my attire. I took advantage when Ms. Laureen Uy visits Cebu last December 11, 2011. I let her style my Glam Rock outfit.  I’ll probably be covering it more in detail in the next Rant . 

 …So last Wednesday night I saw the entire agency with their best glam rock outfits. I was amazed that almost everyone was dress up. The night was full of entertainment making our companies own version of Pilipinas Got Talent “PGT” as the highlight of that night. I was amused by our version of Lady Gaga he own that night. The crowd was cheering for him sadly he was disqualified anyways we enjoyed his performance.

Ever since Leighton Meester’s appearance as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl everyone was fascinated about her character and style. (Blair Waldorf always gives me wardrobe-envy.) Though I’ve only seen her on the small screen, it was love at first sight.

Difference between Leighton’s style & Blair Waldorf

I think Blair is always appropriate and put together while Leighton’s style is a little bit more casual and not afraid to wear flip-flops or sneakers.

Both of these ladies clearly have impeccable style but I’m just curious because the stars looked a like with their long brown hair, high foreheads, prominent cheek bones and similar smiles, they may have been separated at birth or it must have been Leighton’s big sister.
