Life's unexpected pain

It’s been a month already but it pains me to no end that my Papang is gone. I have never before experienced this kind of loss. I knew it would be hard when it happened. I just didn’t realize it would feel this…odd. Honestly I still moan and sob. But the bouts of crying are gradually becoming less frequent if not less intense. They last for one or two minutes and then I snap out of it and move on until the next bout of crying hits me. He has been such a huge influence in my life. Losing him has been like having the very foundations of my identity experience a serious earthquake.

I’m so sorry, Papang! I cried out again and again and again.

“always you will be part of me
and i will forever feel your strenght
when i need it most

you’re gone now,gone but not forgotten
i cant say this to your face papang
but i know you hear

will see you again….
I miss you papang and we love you”

Realization: Don’t miss opportunities to connect with your love ones specially if they are your family because once they are gone, they are gone.

I dont know if it’s right for me to post here but I want everyone to be aware especially Tanauan,Leyteand Brgy. Sto. Nino Tanauan Leyte. I am so sad about what happened to my grandfather. My grandfather has been hurt and in pain right now (sinakal siya and para daw siyang binuhat and then nabagok ang ulo niya sa bato kasi tinulak siya after). A truck driver name Alberto Silvano, 47 years old fromSouthern Leyteand who was drunk hit my lolo who is 77 years old. My lolo wanted him to turn off the engine because the truck was on idling for so long. There are heavy fumes all over.

Before going to the police my sister went to Barangay Hall and made a complaint about what happened then went to police to make a report as well. The truck driver was there already naunahan sila and reported that sumugod daw lolo ko with broom na burnt an tips that cause his injury and what he did to my lolo was self defense and masama pa dyan parang naniwala pa dun sa driver yung mga police. Tanauan police said that my family is wasting time because the incident is for Barangay level only. Wow!

[Parking of truck in the vacant residential]

My aunt made a complaint to our Barangay last December 22, 2010 about the Illegal Parking of Trucks in the vacant residential lot next to our house. My aunt pointed out the following facts for serious consideration.

1. Consequences of Illegal Parking

2. Constant Idling of trucks

3. Emission of Fumes

4. Water Stagnation due to soil erosion

5. Polluting the environment

6. Strangers in the neighborhood that will cause:

a. constant threat to the young family members

b. possible invasion or robbery by unsocial elements relating to strangers.

[My point of view]

First of all I want to say that the system SUCKS!!! Police?? Screw them!!!

My grandfather raised me and as a granddaughter I know him kilala ko siya, NEVER siyang nangagrabyado ng tao. Whatever that driver told the police was a total lie. We can actually pull witnesses. Dun sa mga police did you check his wounds na kung makapag salita kayo eh parang sure na kayo na yung lolo ko gumawa nun? God knows it wasn’t fresh and if my grand father uses a broom with burnt tips to hurt that awful driver they should investigate more and I’m sure that my grandfather is not guilty.

DIY Project: Friendship bracelet

Before the year started I made a “TO DO LIST” first on the list was to make my Do-It-Yourself project and I did. Hooray for me! Last Sunday I was pretty bored and I had nothing to do well I kind of wanted to watch movie and browse on the internet same routine but I wanted to do something different so Goggled some tutorial on making bracelets and decided to make a friendship bracelet (to prove that, well the materials are not hard to find and is available at the moment so… haha!)

Anyways I don’t want to make this post longer since I’m making another friendship bracelet which I’m going to share on my next post so bye for now.

So what do you think guys?

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

After watching I found it so moving! It’s really sad and I can’t stop thinking about it. I am so amazed that those kids could come up with something so strong. There doing something amazing and everyone needs to know. It’s about time today’s generation proved to the world who we really are and what we’re capable of.
